Protein at breakfast comes up constantly, and it is genuinely useful for a lot of people. It is also not magic, and it is worth being clear about what it does and does not do.

What often changes

People frequently notice they are less hungry mid-morning and make steadier choices at lunch. If your breakfast is currently toast or cereal alone, adding eggs, yoghurt, or something similar is one of the simpler changes to test.

It will not fix poor sleep, and it is not a substitute for eating enough across the whole day. Treat it as one adjustment among several rather than the change that makes everything else unnecessary.
